Poison Prevention
Protect your new kitten from harmful houseplants. The ASPCA can provide a list of potentially dangerous plant items.

For a list of household plants that can be harmful or fatal to your kitten, visit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (ASPCA) Animal Poison Control Center. The ASPCA also has a poison hotline: (888) 426-4435.

The National Animal Poison Control Center, operated by the University of Illinois, also has a hotline: (800) 548-2423. In addition, you can order information booklets on animal poisons through this number.
